Dropping my CL-S for a new paint job this weekend.Was originally thinking of San Marina Red but then looked up 09 TL color linup and came across Royal Blue Pearl and Basque Red Pearl.

Can someone be kind enough to photoshop CLS in both colors or suggest any other custom color?

 

Is it being done right? Door Jambs, engine bay, back of hood, back of trunk lid, etc? What's it costing you?

I would go with the blue.

 

Royal Blue Pearl sounds awesome! Personally I would go crazy and just go for broke with ABP lol

 

Stay with black... especially if they aren't jambing it, etc like fuzzy said...

I've got SMR, and got it touched up... they didn't match it that well 'cause they car has never been garaged (and it's a couple shades of red now)...

I'd never get another red car... next new car will probably be black (or blue).

red is the fastest fading color there is on a car. i have 2 red cars so i know.

 

I wonder how the Basque Red Pearl and the Royal Blue Pearl look on our cars..Would someone be gracious enuff to Photoshop them??Got to decide quick..

I love my abp. But if you've getting the car painted, do a rare color! Lippstuh's java black from the sti is super clean.

One of the 3G TL guys got lexus is white pearl and it was beautiful

 

I want to stay away from Black as that is the current color and I just want a change.Lot of u guys voting Blue..If I go with Blue shud it be the 09 TL Royal Blue Pearl or stock ABP??

 

That java blak is indeed nice but I m not too keen on black as that is my current color..No I'm not the one on AT..

 

I have a San Marina Red 01 CL i just got painted. I got it painted Porsche Black and it looks unreal. You will get sick of the red, I would try a two-tone or a custom color. Acura colors suck ha!

 

 

saw a really nice color on an is250 on wednesday --- after checking the lexus website i wanna say it was glacier frost mica --- fell in love with it

 

Majority has voted out the reds, hence red is probably out..I know a custom black would be the best bet but my dilemma is to go for a different color as I currently hv black and I'm kinda bored of seeing black..

Holy dude, that Matador Red Mica is as sexy as they come.. Wish is was sliiiiightly darker though.

 

Yeah finally a color both my GF and I agree on.

She said she would actually approve of me re-painting my car that color.

Every time I do more work on it...I got to hear her complaining.

Thank u sir, I'm leaning towards Midnight pearl blue or a darker shade of blue..
I feel that a vibrant,bright color does not really suit Cl's..

They look more luxurious in darker shades IMO...
