Car/engine shake under hard acceleration

Lately I been experiencing a lot of engine/car vibration that is very noticeable under hard acceleration on freeway (trying to pick up speed on freeway) and very obvious on mountain uphill climbing.

My first assumption is engine/tranny mounts?

My car does have 220k miles

Anymore ideas?

Thanks

Almost 100% likely it is a mount. The OEM mounts are crappy and break frequently under hard acceleration.

start with the mounts. have someone rev the car while you look to see how much play there is. also, look for any wear and tear on the mounts themselves.

It's just vtec kicking in yo!

Like the others have said, 99% chance it's one or maybe even two bad mounts.

I have never heard any stories of tranny mounts on these cars going out yet.

Get new tires recently? If so, make sure they were balanced before getting put back on. I can't think of anything else for a car with minimal problems aside from the typical tranny issues.

Could be the axles. I have the same thing & my mounts were already replaced recently & it's still there.

my axles used to shake when i accelerated 50-70 mph. Try just slowly accelerating from 50-70 mph... If it shakes then it is your axles...
