I would go with CLS as your main day to day car. A lot more if you do a lot of HWs driving.
S2000 is nice Autocross base car, or as a second car for the those sunny weekends, or if you live in an area with lot of twisties....
As a second car S200 is nice....
------------------
Black, Ebony, 3.2 CL Type-S.
- Acura NAV.
- 3M clear bra (full front bumper, and side mirros)
- Wheels locks
- Mooonroof visor
- Splash guards
- Winter mats
- Trunk liner
- Acura Spoiler
- Valentine V1 Radar Locator
- HELMS Service Manual
- PIAA 19169 road lamps
- 03/19/01: Injen Polished CAI

If you want a sports car, then the S2000 is the choice here. Don't confuse the CL with a sports car. Thats the only thing I miss about my CL, that sports car drive.
Everything else about it, rocks.

It really depends on your daily commute. if its less than 15 miles and no traffic I would get the s2000 but if you have to sit in any traffic or tote people around for any reason tcls is the BOMB.

Mon-Friday : Mercedes Benz CL55 AMG
Sat-Sunday : Fferrari 360 Modena Spyder
i had to agree with you on that last one...
cant go wrong with the Modena....
By the way... keep the CL-S around for grocery shopping and having a sweet car to use for those times when the CL 55 AMG would be overkill....

Gotta agree with Jonny.
Between those two choices, it goes like this:
The S2K is the perfect car for perfect conditions, that is, low traffic, suburban/rural environment, with weather/crime rates amenable to driving with the top down/parking with a soft top.
Any of the two Type-S's would be better for the realities of the cities that most of us live in. The automatic/flexible engine makes traffic jams somewhat more bearable, and the creature features/FWD help in dealing with inclement weather. In addition, you'll be better protected from SUVs and large trucks should an accident occur.
In fact, the S2K was the car that I wanted. But at that time, I was commuting 1.5 hours in traffic single way, so that was obviously not to be.

You're considering the s2000... What about a Mustang GT Vert? If you're only going to use it as a sunny weekend/vacation car, you don't need reliability. Go check it out.
