Can't believe it!

Parked on the street Monday nite. Both doors got scratched! $700 worth of damage. I hope it comes out perfect. I don't even have 2000 miles on it yet. But this doesn't beat what happened to my Maxima. Trunk lock got popped the first nite I got the car. Fucking NYC sucks!! All longterm parking will only be in my garage from now on...

I understand your pain and empathize. If you remember, my ride was rear-ended at 700 miles and 9 days old.

It now looks good as new though.

This pain will be temporary too.

Ok let me CLARIFY... any car that is designed, built, tested,
and primary market is the US is crap! It is a fact that domestics
break down often, and are extremely unreliable. Do you argue this fact as well? You can't seriouly tell me that Domestics are superior to Imports.

I feel your pain. My first CL was keyed from front to back only after 3 months. In '99, my 96 Maxima was stolen. Anytime you street park, you have to worry about the front/rear bumper being scratched. Especially those little ladies who drive the Expeditions, Tahoes, Explorers, etc.

Yep...that was a hell of a day back in '95. The bus company's president called me at work and said, "Just tell me what it will cost, you'll have a check tomorrow." I got a whole new front bumper....700 bucks!!! I was bullshit that day, let me tell ya!!!!

That sucks, Vinsane. Here in Oregon, its even worst - if they catch the guy chances are he'll be released cause of jail overcrowding!

The thing that gives me the most secure feeling is a shock sensor connected to a pager. It cost $200 but if the vehicle gets jostled I get paged. Thats when you come running out of your house with whatever weapon makes you most comfortable :-)
