Those Brembos are actually not that good.

The calipers bolt directly to the spindle, where the CL bolts to a bracket that bolts to the spindle. Possibly? Yes. Worth it? No. Get the Wilwoods.

Yea, that is always nice.

Our stock brakes are 11.8", the TL Brembos on the Type S are 12.2". The Wilwood kit is 12.6", plus 4 piston, plus lighter. It also comes with everything.

and you would need different wheels then your stock ones or you can add spacers to the stock wheels, but basically you need more clearence between the spokes of the wheel and the caliper because the calipers stick out further

The rotors from the TL are 4/10" larger then stock. Factor in the size of the caliper and I think the biggest issue with running the stock 17s is the inside diameter, not spoke clearance. The stock brakes are pretty close to the wheels already.

then how do they get away with 17's from the factory, but if they are for bigger diameter rotors you are proably going to have pad hanging over the edge of the rotor (less effective) so you might then need new rotors too from the 04, just more to test fit then

but yeah like said before it is proably just easier to get an aftermarket BBK kit

Damn, that sucks. I really just like how they come in that black finish and say "Acura" on them. The agree, the price to install them is not worth it.

The same reason 19" Legends wont clear the 2 piece Rotora kit, yet the 19" Devotions do. They were made for it.
