I can't believe this question hasn't been asked before... but I couldn't find it in a search.

No to CD-RW's. Yes to CD-R's

It plays CD-Rs just fine for me... Unsure about CD-RWs...

Don't know about the CD-RW question, but I can tell you (as others have mentioned before) that you're better off NOT putting stick on labels on the CDs you burn. The CDs tend NOT to eject when requested to.
