can someone explain to me the problem w/ the VSA and comptech SC?

I have a friend about to do a turbo kit on a CLP and want to make sure we cover this before we get started.

CLP does not have VSA ... only TCS (Traction Control System)

The problem is not so much with the VSA as it is with the automatic cars having preset fuel and timing that are very difficult to change without some kind of external piggy-back ECU.

Comptech is actually working on a piggy back ECU that will allow more boost to be run and the ability to get better fuel and timing maps. The boost upgrade should gain another 10-12HP.

Thanks
Dean
