I only had about 45minutes to work on the car today, but I got the bottle mounted, main line ran under hood, management box test mounted to get main hose right.I'll have the rest done tommorow beside what I got ordered.Should be spraying sometime next week.Cant wait, some of the neibors already came by with all kinds of comments.Bet your ass I'm smiling.

My car has crazy added weight do to the stereo stuff.I think some where around 300lbs+.The car has 4 12's ,1 18,2 amps lots of 0 gauge wire ,blocks ,conectors, and the car has 2 layers of sound deadening atleast everywhere.I might put the 18 in my other car or sell to fund other upgrades who know's.I did fit the bottle so it might just stay.

Damn, so with all the added weight, when your spraying your CL will be as fast as a stock one.

Ummm, my comment was a joke, but if you really want to run, you're more then welcome to drive up to Richmond. Ive got nothing to prove, but apparently you do. Lets not turn this thread into that though.

Nor do I have anything to prove. But VA is right next door. How far are you from NC ? I have a 1/8 mile strip 5-10minutes from my house.Im sure I'll be going very soon to see what is gained.Probally be next sunday.I think sundays are test and tune.

Not far at all. I prefer real 1/4 mile tracks though, and Petersburg is not far from here.

If it was within a couple hours I would not mind rollin.I would even bring a couple of cammera's if it would really happen.I'm sure it would be very educational/entertaining for all 2nd GEN cler's.Beleive me I'm not a poor loser either,I would be happy losing too, just cuz I got to run another 2nd gen.I've never even seen another at the local track.

That is one huge-ass box. Able to keep the rattles in check?
Understand that a fully bolted CL-S6 is putting as much as 300 peak to the crank, and has the gearing to move out with the extra power, and 5-10% less drive train loss than the CL-P (depending on flywheel/clutch options) with a trans that doesn't slip....
Every 100lbs is costing you a tenth at least. I'm all about having a system to keep rolling out entertaining - but don't go to the dragstrip with a boat anchor around your neck .

Ive heard of Ken Block. Im just not that impressed with drifting. He is skilled though, I wont take that away from him.
Id love a RWD CL, but I dont want to pour that kind of money into it. Im better off buying a Z

Drifting is neat and all, and much respect to those who can do it well - but the art of performance driving is being able to push the car to the edge and keep it on line, vs settling for allowing it to let loose and spin it's way around obstacles.
If you have any aspirations for building a Honda drift car, lemme tell you the S2000 is ill suited. It sticks way too well, has far too short of a wheel base, far too good of weight balance, and is too lightweight. It's easy enough to get tires loose when you can rev to 9k, but the short wheelbase on the car and outstanding handling characteristics - it's hard to break it loose, and then when it goes, it gets away and comes around in a hurry.
It's not like tromping on a mustang and steering the weightless ass-end around a parking lot with the wheel and your right foot.

rajca,Thanks again for all the PM help man.Whole system is in and programed ready to spray.Just waiting on the short line, nozzle and the plugs.Whole setup cost me less than $300.With out even trying it out,I would have to say it probally the best way to spend $290
#109
Today I installed the short line and nozzel. I did'nt have time to do the plugs. But tommorow I'm going to grab some full syn and do the plugs. Before I do, should I do some seafoam?I have never used it so I dont know how long after its in I can change the oil and plugs. If its any lenth of time I'll skip it,just figured this would be the time.

I was wanting to get it filled for this sunday cuz its my local tracks test and tune day,but the wife picked up a double. And it would'nt be too cool straping my 2yr son in the back.It will be the following sunday before its on the track, but I never said I wont try it on a on ramp.As soon as it's filled I'll make a vid.

125 shot on the factory fuel pump.Almost sounds too good to be true.....
I just installed the plugs and oil.My car use to idle at 750 on the dot.but now it idles the neddles thickness higher maybe 775-800rpm.You cant tell any difference listening to the car just looking at the tach. Also the rev's feel alot smoother.Has anyone else noticed this with the zex plugs? The plugs I took out say NGK R with a fine tip.

Ok,I got the bottle filled today and sprayed it about 4 times so far and all I can say is wow. This thing make my car spinn crazy tires. And it pulls really hard now .I'm only using a 65 shot right now.And rajca that 125 shot must be ridiculass.

It is addictive for sure. The time I was out on the road with it I was trying to find someone to mess with. But of course when looking no one there, but when my bottles empty there will be someone wanting to try me.It's probally beter waiting for a track day anyway. From what I was told at the shop when filling the botle there hard on people in NC for running illegal mods if your bottle and line are even connected..
Its so addictive that I really want to make the car faster now.And i'll be taking out at least the 18.
