Can I get a new owner's manual? + key/garage questions
Anyone know where I can get a new owners manual? I bought my 2002 CL-S used and it didn't have one. Lousy first owner! And how much do those run?
Also, the back of my keyless entry remote is worn away... can someone just post what it says about programming the memory seat? Oh and when i lock the car if i push lock button again the car beeps once... does that mean anything?
And what are the steps to program the interior garage door remote?
Thanks!

The beep just tells you that the car is already locked...
Mine is worn off too.. I don't think it says anything important other then that #1 is for Memory #1, and #2....
Do a search for homelink here, and you'll find instructions on programming the door opener. It's been 2 years since I did mine, but I kinda remember just pointing the remote at the homelink buttons while pressing the one I wanted to program.

The only thing that's on the back is memory seat #1 and #2. You set this with the buttons on the driver's door. The beep means the security system is activated. Pressing it only once locks the doors. Definitely check out an owner's manual for the Homelink. I can't really remember what I did. I know you have to actually press a button on the garage opener itself. Then steps for the remote.

OK... but does that mean you can use the remote to make the seat go into memory position 1? Or what? I guess i'm unsure what "link/unlink" actually means. Excuse my newbiatude

I think, but I'm not sure about this, that you can link memory position 1 with remote 1, and memory position 2 with remote 2. Basically meaning that if you unlock the door with remote 2, the key fob will not only unlock the doors but it will also move the seat to position 2 (if its currently in position 1). I'm pretty sure this is what "linking" means.
