I just finished installing a CAI with stock filter box, K&N hi-flow filter, and Spectre components (Autozone) to route to the lower grill area via flex tubing and firewall bracket. Total cost, about $30.00 for hardware and $44.00 for the filter. Labor took 3 hours, going through the fenderwell to remove the stock silencer (couldn't believe how big and heavy it was!!).

I fully expected some type of whine, hum, whistle, clicking, banging, or cow bell noise, based on posts I see in this forum. Nothing.

I hear a little more dbs at WOT/VTEC range, and feel a little more pull over 3K revs. Otherwise, looks stock in the EC, wife and kids don't know what I did.

How do I reset the ECU, or is that necessary?

Next spare $300- Comptech. Should drop right in now.
