CAI question?

Since it's gotten cold I'm wondering if the filter can freeze if it gets wet. The other day it was kinda rainy and after driving the filter was definitely wet. It wasn't cold enough to freeze but could it? Or is there enough oil on the filter to keep that from happening? Inquiring minds want to know...

I dont think the entire filter will get frozen to prevent air from flowing into the tube. Parts of it might, but as you suck in air through the open pores it will melt the rest as temp climbs up from the engine.
