Aww man, that is pretty..... good thinking.... well if you got 4 walls and a roof I would imagine it gets pretty dark in there.. How you get your car in and out of there? LOL...
You mean to tell me you did not hard wire the Clapper to turn your garage lights on and off from inside the car...??? Geesh Shawn your slippin..
I was reprograming my Sears garage door the other day and they make a device that plugs into your wall outlet, so you can hit 1 of the 3 homelink buttons you choose to turn your lights on or off in the house or garage.... you should look into that..
Smitty..
p.s. wanna answer my PM sometime this year... it is like you cashing my checks...slow as a turtle... LOL... nah, j/k that check cleared the other day......LOL..

I use the marker lights when driving UP to the garage, not to get OUT of it.
You know late at night when pulling up the dark driveway.
There are lights right outside the door, but that would mean pulling all the way up to the door before opening it.
Get it SHMUCK ???

Sure you’re not thinking of Scooter ???

Does Scooter got 03 tails?...with the PIAA upgrade.. I'll have to IM him when I see him on AOL... thanx

o, and i recharge my filter every 6 months or so...Ernie and i did it back in April, and i just recharged again last weekend...the blackness is not a bad thing...there's still PLENTY of oil left...when i recharged last weekend, the filter looked horrible...when i rinsed it out, there was a TON of oil left, and all the dirt that initially came out turned red in no time (i sprayed about half the bottle over the whole filter, so i get 2 recharges out of each kit)

I’ve used my cleaning kit TWICE myself and I don’t think the can of oil is even HALF empty.
I thought when I bought it the guy said it was good for 10+ applications.

I felt around the inside of the pipe and it was nice and clean when I took it apart.
If you wait too long to clean it I would imagine the airflow would be reduced and dirt will start to get through the filter.

I didn’t. It’s just a maintenance routine that helps protect your engine.

i do it every 6K
i think a few extra K would b alright...as far as the dirt goes, as i understand it, the filter is designed to absorbed oil from everything that comes in contact with it...bugs, dirt, etc. apparently r supposed to b good for itas far as using half the bottle of oil, yeah i thought the recharger kit was good for like 2/maybe 3 charges...i still got plenty of the cleaner spray left, but i prob used too much oil...o well, so the filter was too oily...not like it's gonna get pimples and sh!t

and the Zit of the Year Award goes to................Scooter's K&N filter!!!
...ok, i need to go to bed now LOL

It’s hard to see unless you’re specifically looking for it.
I’m not going to paint the entire door & fender just for that small blemish.
As for their liability, I’m still in discussions with their insurance firm as to settlement.
Details to follow.

I know, I need to clean mine too.
Only problem is, I gotta waste like 1/2 a day to get the fliter off the end of the intake. Sux.
I guess the easiest way would be to jack it up, pull that plastic piece off, and then take the filter off.

???Shouldn’t take more then an hour or so. I only jacked the car because it was pretty tight to get to the fasteners under the front.
After I had those out I dropped the filter right out the bottom and proceeded to clean and oil it.
Anther 20-minutes to put stuff back together and you’re done.

Yes, maybe a BIT longer then an hour for the whole thing, but as you said, most is waiting.
And I didn’t start the engine until the next day so it was definitely dry by then.

I just cleaned my filter this weekend. It was pretty clean considering the 7500 miles on it. Didn't look nearly as bad as yours. You must drive in a real dusty area. And a lot of insects
Took me about 3 hours too. But I was playing my x-box inbetween steps
Helps a ton if you shake the water free from the filter before leaving it out to dry in the sun.
