Bypass valve -- AEM? Who came first?
Hmmm... Look at this.
Looks to be of better construction that the AEM bypass value (more solid)
And
Notice that the design is almost identical. Look how it lets in more air (if anyone doublted my postulations about the AEM valve letting in hot underhood air when IN WOT mode).
However, depending on cost, they make these in a variety of sides and might be more sturdy than the AEM for bypass purposes.
Just a thought... I noticed this in SCC and here is the link and pictures for any CAI bypass folks... (or whatever):

it is the same exact construction as the aem except it has aluminum case instead of plastic.
i like this one better but you should get the extra foam filter that wraps around the aem and put it on this bitch.
