Bypass valve -- AEM? Who came first?

Hmmm... Look at this.

Looks to be of better construction that the AEM bypass value (more solid)

And

Notice that the design is almost identical. Look how it lets in more air (if anyone doublted my postulations about the AEM valve letting in hot underhood air when IN WOT mode).

However, depending on cost, they make these in a variety of sides and might be more sturdy than the AEM for bypass purposes.

Just a thought... I noticed this in SCC and here is the link and pictures for any CAI bypass folks... (or whatever):

now that is a bypass valve

that cheap looking aem bypass valve looks pathetic compared to that thing.

WOW i want one now!!!

i have an aem and one of these things... these thing is better its more sturdy... doesnt flex like the aem.


theres actually several manufacturers now...

is that thing still supposed to stop water? it doesn't even mention water in that little blurb in the pic

it is the same exact construction as the aem except it has aluminum case instead of plastic.


i like this one better but you should get the extra foam filter that wraps around the aem and put it on this bitch.


the AEM came first by the way... i first saw this thing in mags like 3 mo ago
