Bye bye shitty brakes, hello RL hotness

Got these on about 1k ago but never got around to posting pics. Everything's perfect and I couldn't be happier. Pics were taken with my phone and its pretty rainey out today so ill be taking better pictures the next nice day I get with a real cam and starting a much overdue build thread. Wanted something LOUD.. and its exactly that. Can't count the number of compliments I've gotten so far but understand they won't be for everyone. Thanks go out to Paul and everyone that's already done this mod for their pioneering.. Comments welcome

But hey if you like it that's all that matters.
Welcome to the bbk club, and enjoy the new stopping power.

Not painted, they were sandblasted and powdercoated by a friend, done right

Nah always green lol, maybe cause you saw them at night??

Thanks everyone else for the comments, again they arn't for everyone but personally I love them and think the color flows well with the AM.. now I wouldn't get my wheels in that color or anything, just had a vision and went with it!

^ LOL I like the caliper, but I dont think it flows well with the color..

You should put some lime green racing stripes down the hood, that'd be HAWT!!

Its like saying plaid and stripes flow well

I like the color

Are you running spacers on those wheels? If not, its good to know the 07-08 base TLs will clear as well.

I am not, yes they will clear as they are the same 45 offset as the 04-06's. However, I will say that the adapter studs that the caliper mounts to needed to be trimmed quite a bit as they were hitting the inner hub of the wheel. But that'd go for any 17" wheel and doesn't affect anything as you can still fasten the nut all the way down.

Same deal on my 18s, the studs hit the barrel.

I love that color on the caliper and I think its a great match to the car color, but of course with that car color just about anything would contrast nicely. I do, however, think that you should do the rears the same way. The added balance of color you'll achieve with the rears done will really make that car pop.

I actually think this wasn't a bad idea.. it would look better with machine-finish rims IMO.

They look good to me on this car.. but then again it's a C63.
