Buyer of Dr Chuck's CL
Hello to the Acura CL community! For those of you who communicate with Dr Chuck, or kid_dr, I'm the fellow who travelled to Auburn AL to purchase Dr Chuck's baby, a 2003 Acura CL 3.2 Type-S, modified. And what a fine Baby it is! Supercharged with suspension mod's and other goodies it sang a lusty song as i drove it home to Michigan. We (my daughter and I) took a little side trip up I-85 to US 25 and US 26 for a little test run at speed. And then early the next AM we caught the Skyway two lane thru the mntns all the way to Gatlinburg. No traffic at all, we rolled up thru the clouds, round the mountain tops and thru to tunnels, up shifting, down shifting, listening to that supercharger sing it's song and generally just having a terrific time. With the Rolling Stones in the back ground we rocked and rolled our way all the way home.
If you'd like to say hello to the new guy drop me a line.

^^^^ Haw haw haw!
Congratulations, but just be careful. You got your hands on a lot of car there.
If you got questions, we're here to help you, and Smitty has an SC also and his car is heavily modded. In my opinion, he is the "go to" guy for mods.

Live in Birmingham; if you see a white CL with shaved emblems and a plate that says "DennisT", I'm your boy. Is there an Acura CL club around these parts?

Trashman55 says thanks boys and girls
Got a S--- pile of messages so I'm simply going to say thanks to all who welcomed me to the forum. As for the mods, well kid-dr did more than I would have dared and a terrific job of it, so I consider myself a lucky guy! I have a few things in mind but he's done all the heavy lifting.
As for ages well my daughter's 18 and a real cutie, and I'm somewhat older, sort of.
As for the price I'll leave that to kid-dr as it's his money now, although I consider the price a fair one for such a unique and well cared for road rocket.
Thanks again folks!
PS did I mention that I'm an ex RCAF fighter pilot, who track raced back in the day. So when I feel the need for speed................

Darrin has an '03 CL-S and lives in West Bloomfield.
BBsAcuraRacing is from the area, as well. Derrick is kind of close by; in Windsor.
That's about everyone I know from the area.
We should hold a get-together sometime.
