To buy or not to buy?

I am in the process of deciding which of the following 2 intakes to buy:
Comptech icebox or the AEM V2

I have seen dynos on the hp increase from the icebox.
But then the I have yet to know what's the deal w/the V2 power wise and then
I'm wondering if there would be a problem of sucking water into the engine since the filter is down below where rainwater can be splashed to.

So, I want to know if any1 has had a problem w/the AEM and what kind of power gain there would be. I have heard that the icebox is much quieter but I won't mind that much.

First, do a search
Second, the AEM pretty much has the same gains as the Icebox. It is possible to hydolock with the AEM, but rare. The AEM is louder. The V2 is only for the non-type-s.

I have the ice box.

NOISE:: you can't tell the different between ICE BOX and STOCK !
POWER :: You can tell the different right away and ... you will know much of the different on gas mileges --save you some gas !!

worry free about water getting into the engine

I don't know much about the AEM, but AEM sound's louder (cool sound)
