The air bags depolyed. That's at least a moderate impact. Plus-the air bags weren't replaced. That's dangerous. Sounds shady; Probably have no factory warranty since it's a salvage title. Nee to check with Acura on that if you go through with it.
NO WAY!!!!! Something is REALLY wrong when they dont replace the airbags. Maybe its just the money, they are VERY EXPENSIVE!!! I would NOT EVEN THINK about it!!! If the airbags deploy, it is NOT a "low-speed" impact. I think people here have posted that they were going over 20mph and the bags did NOT deploy. Run, dont walk, away from this car!!!! Just My Opinion!!
I just thought of something else!!! If the car has a salvage title, that means the insurance company paid the owner off for the car. They ONLY do this if the price to fix the car is MORE than the car is worth!!!!! Replacing two bumper covers and the headlight and fender is NOT EVEN close to the value of this car!!!! Even if they would have replaced the air bags, the owner of the car would have gotten it back, NO SALVAGE TITLE!!!!! Or the car was stolen and they paid the owner off before the car was found, which is worse, since you know the fawks who stole it, THRASHED it!!!!

There's nothing wrong with a salvaged title. It just means you have to be even more careful and throughly check out the car, not just mechancally and cosmetically but check out its history. More than just a carfax. Make sure its not two CLs cut and put together to make one complete car. Question everything. If the guy gives you any lip for asking so many questions, walk away. The only damage you really should decline with a salvaged title is flood damage. Have a certified acura mechanic at a dealer look at everything in the car before. You can get a really great deal if the car is in good shape.

One of the biggest problems with buying the car is not just having to double check for badly repaired damage, but the future resale value will suck.
It might be cheaper to get into a salvage title car in the beginning, but if you ever try to sell it... good luck.
As many people have already mentioned already, there is alot of "baggage" associated w/ a salvage titled car. Most people won't touch 'em, so you'll have a tough time selling it. If you try to trade it in later, then the dealer probably won't give you much for it either.
Now, if you were planning to use the car for a track only vehicle...
