About 2 weeks ago i was chillin at a friends house. their were a lot of people their but not too many girls.

One of my boys got a supra and he loved driving it so we all decided to just go for a ride and their were 7 of us. He took his car i took mine and another friend took his mirage.

We get on the highway and he starts speeding his ass off and ofcourse i gun it too (not keeping up at all ofcourse). the poor kid with the mirage had to turn back and god home because he couldnt keep up.

so then my friend with the supra slows down and pulls next to me and says he will give me a five second head start and will see how long it takes him to catch up. oh by the way he is pushing like 600 something to the rear wheel. so back to the story.

i take off and not to long after he is right next to me and just passes me like im in reverse. were both going about 115-130.

as we go into a curve their is a cop on the sholder gunning. we both almost piss in our pants . we take and exit which was a dumb thing to do. he catches us and arrests both of us. our cars got impounded and our friends had to walk home.

we were in jail from 2am till 4pm. jail the worst place to be. both of us are only 17 and it sucked. our bail was 2500 and i still dont know whats gonna happen to us because out court date hasnt came.

SORRY FOR MAKING IT TOO LONG. but the only reason i am telling you guys this is that i realized how stupid street racing is and i think it is the dumbest thing to do. because of that one night it cost me 2500 already and i dont know how much more. so DONT DO IT. lol if you want to race take it to the track.

Get a good lawyer, you will need it. Don't plan on driving much if any for a few years either. Just be happy if you get out of it with paying a few Gs and losing your license for a year. And forget about what insurance is gonna cost you after that, cause you won't be able to get any.

Glad you see the light though, much better to get busted for this, than killed in a wreck. Take it to a track guys, its a lot more fun anyway.

lol ... yea racing is dangerous and cops really hate. one of u should have taken the fall and the other could have gotten away.. for example, one of u get off the freeway, the other continue on...... or both get off and go seperate directions, oh well too late for that... good luck

It's funny, I was gonna start a thread - "anyone ever get arrested for just speeding" (no dope, dui, warrants or all, just speeding) and "what's the fastest you've gotten caught going by a cop?"

I've been caught over 100 twice. Once was an expensive ticket and 6 points (108 in a 50). The other was 130+ in a 55. Walked away with a warning. Don't wanna see if 3rd time's a charm so I've basically retired from the triple digits.
Oh, and you guys better find the best goddamed criminal attorney (they're in better with the judges, you'll get a better deal). Good luck!!!

I street race on the hwy, but i normally won't go any faster than 130 KM/HR.
And those are only short acceleration bursts...

130 MILES PER HOUR is pretty fucked up. I'm sorry but you deserve to be jail for that...

130km/hr is like 81mph. I drive that all the time on a daily basis (with the traffic). Live a little!

not sure how the laws are in TX> but how did it cost you 2500? i've been arrested a few times and it should of only cost you 250(10%) and if you posted the 2500 yourself thats refunded at court. not to mention what was the charge?

I got popped for a DUI about a month ago. Friggin bike cop. The legal limit is a .08, i blew a .084...He made me do the field tests. Walk a straight line all that b.s. The only catch is i had to do it uphill on an onramp. It was B>S> i was soooo not drunk. I had two damn beers. I weigh about 200lbs. Its ghetto. Anyways the reason for me writing is because i can vouge for you that jail sucks. You got it easy though. I sat there for 26 hours. My bail posted at 10 am and i didnt get out until 1am the next day. I got locked up at about 10. pm
if that ever happens again i can guarantee that i will probably try and run. I am never never never ever ever ever going back to jail...HELL NO.

I got lasered from a bridge on the 10 fwy heading towards scottsdale arizona @ 2am going 130mph thru indio county ( no cars as far as the horizon infront of me).

Cons:

suspended license 1 month , 2 points which made me go over the 4point limit so tack on another + 6 month suspension on top of the 1 month ( double whammy), $850 fine. Insurance kicked me.
when i found insurance price was doubled ... $690 a month.


Pros:

I didnt go to jail. Friends and I got to enjoy our vacation. Cop wrote me in for 110mph instead of 130mph because that is what he pulled me over going 110 lol. He was a real cool chp officer as most are. Found out he graduated from the same school i was attending... so he let me go It was funny, he was reporting my car to other officers warning them of a green acura going high speeds heading for the arizona border and to watch out.

Lol it took me 5 hours to get there rather than the usual 3.

btw. to this day i havent gotten one moving violation. I am 23 years old. I got this 110mph ticket spring of 2001 over 3 years ago. I still pay $560 a month and i m about to lose a few points off my record. Ill be happy paying $475 a month... its just not worth it.

another interesting thing... the chp officer said he had one hellova time trying to catch up to me from a standstill on an overpass bridge.

He said he was going 145mph trying to catch me ( almost killing himself in his words ) lol.
Took him atleast 20 miles to catch me. haha only reason i slowed down was because the border was close.
