Business card designs

A) "Standard":

B) "Standard plus Big Red":

C) "Adrenaline":

what do you guys think?
Card A, B or C?

2)And also, what do you think about referrer names? e.g. "referrer: KavexTrax"
Too corny? Better to be anonymous?

{Ignore the Photopoint header at the top of each card}

B you won't be able to use; copyright problems.

C doesn't look like a CL.

I like C with a less aggressive car; perhaps a side view or head-on.

Count me in on the business card, too.

Of course the C car looks good. But most of the aggressive, young CL drivers are already here on this board.

If you are going to put the business card on a 50 year old's CL, it shouldn't look like a NASCAR race car.

But I guess it's not really that bad...

IMHO.

I know there is the whole question of having one theme, not be too confusing etc etc .. but what the hell, can ya print both?

I guess as kensteele pointed out, B is def out of the question for copyright reasons.

Have you considered involving the TL community in this .. doing a back to back kinda deal, a joint effort?

What do you plan to do here .. ? distribute it to members to spread the word for this forum .. what kinda cost basis are we looking at?

sorry for the million questions, just being a consultant =) gathering requirements before coming up with a solution!

I agree with Poobah...
Seems like Card A is the ticket here. The question is how would you feel about this on the reverse side of Card A?:
"You are cordially invited to the online forum community of Acura-CL.com. Join the family."

We are a messed up family at times though

I.e. are we really family-friendly though?
The truth of the matter is, we are comprised of mostly adrenaline junkies here who are diehards in sharing info. or bored die hards
. But ideally, anyone is welcome.

Eclipse,

I'll talk to Soop about posting the design on the page as a MS Word Document so you guys could print them out yourselves ...

I don't really want to be a distributor at this time.

What I did was, I went to Office Depot and picked up some dinky ink jet business cards pack by Maco (same as Avery 8371). They're pretty flimsy actually and micro-perfed (hence the unsmooth edges), not solid card material. But cheap and good enough for $9.99 (250 cards)

Yeah post it as a word doc. That way us TL Owners can do the same for our forum. No we're not gonna steal potential users away from CL.com

Ok...to get the ball rolling
Looks like I'll have to contact Vistaprint.com for a quote just like the License plate frame situation a while ago. I'll see if we can get a club rate so you all can order.

It would be HELLA nice to get the vertical
grey bars on the card as a silver lining or gunmetal color lining..but that would be expensive probably.

(A) version is cool.
If it is a word doc, heck, I'll add my own car photo to it!!

OK, just playin around. It is a cool idea.
I see a few of CL 1st gens around here in Baltimore. More of the 3.2's are coming around though. Don't know if the folks I've seen driving them would ever consider putting a CAI on their rides much less a performance exhaust but hey, you never know right?

even better than a word doc - how about a flat PSD or PDF file? So we can get that highresolution nice kick ass quality print?

theres never a shortage to push the envelope on this board

goldn1: I believe Card A's resolution is
as good as it gets on Word. Because the Card
A design is simple, there's really not much need for High Res, unless we have a photographic card. Plus as a word document, it's already premade to be printed out as cards
