Burnt housing after Polarg m6
First of all, I'm one of the most first person on this fourm that used the polarg m6. even when everyone was using the piaa's 69's I had the polargs simply because they where 18watts vs. 5watts. Yes they are the closet you'll get to matching the HID's and they do look good. But after 13 months with polargs and replacing my 2nd driverside bulb I just decided to take them both out. I then looked for burn marks since Chod or SilverKnight can't remember, mentioned that it might burn the housing. so Here ya go I took some pics.

Here we go again.
Both Silverknight and Scooter have looked for and found
the burn mark.
Some people have looked and not found it. I think most of
us with M6's couldn't care less if it is there or not, as long
as it is not noticable if you're not looking for it, and there's no real danger in having it.
Okay, granted, it's not the best thing in the world to be
happening, but is it worth worrying about?
I used to worry about my two scratched rims until I realized
that nobody saw them cuz they're too busy gawking at
my Zaino.

GOOD NEWS FRIENDS!!!!
talk about blessing in disguise (and i haven't mentioned this until now for whatever reason)...when i did SOLO back a couple months ago, i ACCIDENTALLY ran over my road lamp b/c i wanted more air in the intake...well since the structure of the housing was still in tact but the clear lens was busted up, i looked VERY closely at my burn marks from my PIAA 19224's...i was able to take my finger and rub off the burn marks by just repeatedly rubbing with lots of pressure...now granted, the lamp itself was busted up, but this offers hope...now this is what im thinking...take out your road lamps and b extra careful while removing the actual lights from the inside of the housing due to the lights "growing"...i think it's possible to take a toothbrush with a little soap and water and scrub down the burn marks (or something equivalent)...i personally haven't tried it, but considering the hole from the back of the housing and the angle u're dealing with, it will b tricky, but at least there's potential there
my burn marks occured about 5 or 6 months after installing my PIAA's just in case anybody cares.

I thought you said you looked and didn't see anything.
The burn marks are not a big deal. I'm afraid the housing cannot take the heat and it's physically weakened by the heat from the M6s and eventually it's gone. Paying 50-90 bucks per housing is painful.
