Unhappy Burned!!!!!!!!

One of my passengers accidently put a cigarette burn in my leather. It's a really small burn but just knowing it's there is driving me crazy since I try to keep my ride in showroom condition. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to self repair or know of any shops in the Los Angeles area that can repair leather for not that much but still do a good job. I'd really appreciate the help.

slightly off topic, but i always tell my passengers no smoking and if you do and burn something, you pay for it. needless to say, no one has smoked in my car, no will i ever allow it.

First off, what were you thinking letting someone smoke in your car Goodluck getting that repaired. It's not going to be cheap by any means

...esp since it is a 01...that is 4 year old leather, it's not gonna match color wise to a new single pane of leather that gets replaces....you want showroom quality, you're gonna have to replace the entire seat covering (if you're really anal about appearances, you need to replace ALL the leather in the car to match)

I think a good repair place should be able to just replace the burned section by removing the cover and sewing in a replacement panel.
If they “distress” the leather a bit it should match pretty good.
And it will definitely look better then a big burn hole.

Depending where it is, it might not even be a leather piece. Maybe vinyl. There’s more of that then leather in our cars.

Oh yea….. Smoking in the car

Smoking in cars that aren't yours. 'Specially if the car owner isn't a smoker themselves.

you should've pointed at your coinholder next time and tell them your car is a non smoking car.

Or taken their cigarette after they burned your seat, and put it out on their FACE.

i dont understand how some people could be so inconsiderate to even let a cigarette burn a hole. i mean, it should take a while for it to burn though leather (cloth in a sec).

cig's stink up the car anyways.

cigaweed is the only smoke allowed in my ride

leather is hard to burn through if even possible. I think they did it on purpose.
