Bumper Nose Mask and lower aftermarket grille installation
Anyone had any trouble doing this. Since my after market grille is blocking the OEM black bars, do I have to take it off (the aftermarket grille) ?
I really don't want to, but since some of the straps connect to the OEM grille I am having a hard time figuring a way around it.
Going on road trip sat and need to put the nose mask on.
Anyone with aftermarket grille's or general Ideas, please chime in.

Yes it does need to be removed, or modified so the bra's clips can get behind the bumper. Or modify the bra. This is the reason I took the lower grill off my car. I still have the upper grill, & I modified the bra to fit. I cut a few of the clips, then loosen the nuts for the grill & slide the upper bra's little flap between the hood & grill then retighten the grill nuts. This holds it in place. In fact it holds it better.

Your paint may discolor only if you expose your car to long periods in the sun w/ the bra on. My car is garaged, both home and work, so I leave it on pretty much all the time. I have had my car for two years, and no discoloration issues. The car is left outside a fair amount on the weekends, but have had no issues.
I would, however, recommend that you remove your hood mask portion when it rains, otherwise it may stretch and bag around the front edge (one of mine did, replaced under warranty). If it rains while I'm out, I usually remove the hood piece.
The lower/bumper bra is left on my car for weeks at a time, no problems. It's removed every 2-3 weeks to clean underneath, and to get the debris out. I remove the hood bra with every wash, roughly once a week.

On this car I only use it for road trips. Mainly cause it's a PITA to get off & on. The 300M I had before the Acura I had one & left it on almost all the time. That one was so easy to get off & put on. It was a 3 minute job(I timed it) Had that car for 2 years & had no signs of any wear. I left it on in the rain too. Might just depend on the car, bra, & conditions.
