bulb for center gauge lcd panel
i searched using every term i could find but found nothing.
there seems to be two light bulbs lighting up the lcd panel in the speedometer gauge (the panel that displays outside temp, odometer, trip odometer, etc.). the left bulb in my car has burnt out, leaving the left half of the lcd panel much less bright than the right half.
does anybody know the part number of the bulb and how easy it would be to replace?
thanks.

i've been thinking of this too. try looking at www.acuraautomotiveparts.org.

thanks, that's a great link but very hard to navigate. the system component (diagram) names aren't obvious to me. i finally found the correct diagram for the gauges under "meter components".
it looks like there are three lights behind the lcd panel, and the diagram shows sockets for 9.5V 1.14W bulbs. but the bulbs aren't listed on that page. still looking, and still no idea if this is easy to replace...

ok, i found the bulb, thanks to a post over on the acura tl forum. the part number is 78181-S0K-A21, $4.72 from acura.
so now that that's out of the way, does anyone have any idea if it is possible to replace this bulb without removing the gauges? i'm hoping i can stick my hand inside the dashboard and do it that way...
