Broken motor mounts fixed under goodwill!!!

wrote a thread last week bout my motor mounts bein broken at 60K miles. dealer originally said they would not cover it under warranty cuz i was out of the 50k period. so i called up acura customer service and put in my complaint. they did an investigation and now the dealer is gonna fix the motor mounts for free under goodwill this one time. how great is that? i didnt even think it would work but it did. if anyone has any problems /w premature wear/breakdown i would recommend they call customer service and put in a complaint. it jus mite work.

Second Post

I started here: Acura Owners Link. Also asked my local Atlanta Acura Dealer to make a call to the Honda Regional Rep. Going in two directions at once did the trick.

What did I say to Acura Customer Service when the dealer quoted me the price for the repair: "This sucks, first the trans went north; then the motor mounts. My '01 CL-S is clean and no accidents. I think the trans contributed to the broken mounts. Please cover the repair."

All I know is one of the calls did the trick, because the repair bill was nada, zero, no mullah, no denaros, nothing.

Please keep in mind that I never take "No" for an answer. I will elevate to the highest person until the answer is yes. This cost less than forking out unnecessary repair $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Go for it!

Remember the above posts ^^^^

You are welcome!

I use Ed Voyles that's where my '01 CL-S was purchased in Feb., 2000.
