All work done by the master tech Jens at PAA
The Brembos look great and makes the car feel 500lbs lighter....Im thinking 0-60 in around 5.4 sec. just about without headers nor intake. Its hard to describe but the torque steer is gone and feel so much responsive throughout the powerband. I was racing a S500 on the highway and I literally pulled away form him like nothing I slowed down and he gave me a salute as I let him go by.....the car rocks so much right now and I haven't received my Ice-box yet
here are pics of the Comptech drop and the Brembos I also installed the Comptech SS lines
Brembos

MB has a nicer silver

Even with my SSR it's still a tight fit

Comptech Exhaust

Titanium strut bar and Brembo Brakes

Work in progress

302 HP =5,600 rpm
339 tq = 2700-4250 rpm
0-60 =6.1
curb weight = 4,170 lbs.
my car has less power but its a stick and my wheels and brakes gives it 17lbs of less unsprung weight to the front wheels over stock. Darrinb find out what that does for power to the wheel compared to stock and then ask me if I don't have performance mods.

Next time you do a full Brembo install, try fitting a 16” stock TL rim on there and let me know if it clears.
I’m doubtful, but if it does you might be “operating” on the Blue Blinger sometime in the near future.

lou, the s 500 is a beast on the highway, thats where the weight really dont matter
i dunno what a 500 runs in the 1/4, i'm guessing a really low 14, i doubt a cl-s6 can pull that off stock, i dont think any stock 6 speed has gone faster than 14.3

yea but the S5 on the freeway is an absolute beast. My dad has one and it walks AWAY from both my brothers 540 and GS400. I mean it starts just walking away from them at about 80. by 110 it's about 2 cars.

Lou ,there were actually several washers there none of them were for the Konis though .You will also need the correct cushion inserts to make it work. The Koni struts have a thicker Diameter shaft so everything needs to have a bigger hole to accomodate this. The only parts that are carried over from the original struts are the boots the upper mounts and the rubber isolators .As soon as you have this stuff just schedule a regular appointment with the folks up front .As far as I know the Konis do not change the ride height unless you use the washers in the lower of the two positions possible .If you go with the lower position you may possibly rub in extreme manuevers .The upper position is more desirable though as it keeps the camber realistic.
Koni should be able to supplu you with new hardware kits for the struts this should preclude any problems for installation. An alignment should not be needed if the struts are used with the mounts in the upper position .But it would probably not be a bad idea to recheck it .Jens

I ordered the installation kit for the fronts and rears except the seeds cause I have those. I can't wait to feel the difference between the two I hope it will be night and day.
Look forward to me getting this done soon so I don't know if you have a TL-P wheel available for test fitting.

Ti bar is mounted on top and the sways are under the car linking the tie rods from the bottom. The combination is superb but this time I have the Koni's adjustable to stiffen up the ride even more not that much but more than stock
