Brembo/Powerslot or OEM rotors?

I might be getting new rotors, cant decide between brembo blanks or OEM. OEM will only cost $40 bucks more. I have Brembo blanks now, its been OK, but they warped too.... not sure if brembo is worse/better. Brembo rusts ugly, so I don't know if I want it again. I was also thinking about Powerslot, but I heard they will warp too... and many shops will not resurface slotted rotors, so its kind of one shot deal.

Slotted rotors won't help? I might as well go for the cheapest ones.

^bc u drive like a pansy. lol

slotted, drilled, blank, dimpled, slotted and dimpled, slotted and drilled all will warp. our caliper puts a lot of force on the rotor and its not distributed evenly. ppl have good luck with the legend/nsx calipers bc they distribute the weight more evenly across the rotor.

That and they are too small.

yeah, its an old story that our breaks and transmissions are crap. So blank rotors (brembo or OEM) is good enough?

DBA front rotors and you'll never have a problem.

watch DBA's video on their rotors and then make the decision of how good they are.

No other rotors cools down as fast and as consistently as DBA rotors do, due to their patented cooling vanes.

The ticket if you ask me is the Legend caliper upgrade with good rotors and stainless steel brake lines. Stopping becomes fairly strong

Here is the review about DBA rotors that someone left on tirerack for 2002 Acura TLS:

When I first installed these rotors they were outstanding - they met all my expectations untill they warped after only 20,000 miles most of which are highway miles. They can not be trued due to the slots. The shimmy is very noticeable in the steering wheeel under braking - to the point that I get comments from people who ride with me in the car. They will be coming off the car very soon and placed in the scrap steel bin! -- Review submitted: 2009-02-18

I have the same concern with slotted rotors that most of the places will not resurface them when warped. So it really sucks because you pay premium to get them, and then can't even resurface them.

any rotor can warp if you beat the shit out of it. KMS means nothing

they're on my car right now and when I hit the brakes it's UNCOMFORTABLE because of how fast they brake.

And the faster you go and try to stop.. the better the brakes seem to work. At least wit my car
