Brand new warped rotors
This weekend I installed all new rotors and pads on my CL. Right after the install I noticed a very bad shutter in the streering wheel and a vibration in the drivers seat. I drove the veh for approx 200 miles here and there to see if maybe they just needed to break in but to no avail, the shutter and vibration remain. I took my car to the dealership today to verify my install, even though I have done the brakes before on this car, and they stated that everything looked ok and they said that the rotors were warped. They took me in the garage and showed me the rear rotor with the wheel off. When they spun the rotor you could see the rotor was warped, just with the naked eye. Of course they recomended Acura OEM rotors.
I bought the rotors from a company called Rotorpros.com and they were shipped from Cali to NY. Has anyone had any expirence with this company before?
Thanks

its a common problem, just re machine them at a shop and reinstall again, it just buys u time but itz still going to get warped again.
same issue even after i switched to frozen rotors.

on my old car i got new rotors that turned out to be warped. i noticed it the second i put them on. see if you can get them exchanged, i did. i chalked it up to cheap rotors, but in your case, i have no idea about the company you mentioned

Honda rotors are famous for warping problems as are some after market types.
Never, ever, put wheels on these cars with an air wrench. ALWAYS hand torque the wheels and, no, I don't mean a torque stick on an air gun, I mean hand torque the lug nuts.

warped rotors
New rotor that are warped all stems from how they were stored by the supplier. I work at and auto shop and if the are stores flat instead of on end they will warp. Turn them it the warp then you also got cheap ones.

I'm battling with the issue since last fall. tried different rotors and they all vibrate for some reason. last set of blanks was fine at first but then warped shortly after. I'm yet to try OEM and see what happens but I'm tired of wasting money on the same issue. money doesn't grow on trees... makes me wanna launch the car off a cliff once in a while.
