brake wear indicator?

Are there brake wear indicators on a 2001 CL-S? When the pads on my wife's old Integra got low there was a screeching noise when backing up.

With worn pads, will the fluid level drop enough to set off the brake light?

In some cases yes. At least that happened to my Altima.
