Brake Pads / Rotors question - New to the PHX area

I have rotora slotted rotors and axxis ultimate ceramic brake pads all around. It is time to change the front brake pads and I am not sure if I should replace the slotted rotors as well? I think they are fine but can slotted rotors be machined if needed? Ideally I would like to just change the pads.

Also any recommendations on ceramic pads that are just as good as the ultimates? I love them but they dust way too much.

Lastly, I just moved to the PHX area from NYC. Any recommendations on good installers in the Chandler or Gilbert area?

Thanks for the advice

Disc Italia Hyper Ceramic Pads?

I just spoke to one of the guys at brakeword.com and he said that I should not have to change my rotors if there are no signs of warping (ie steering wheel shake or pedal feedback when I brake). He also mentioned that I should not have them turn the rotors.

He also recommended Disc Italia Hyper Ceramic pads, mentioned that they had much lower brake dust than the Ultimates. Has anyone tried these, any thought??

Axxis Ultimates are semi-metallic and tend to have a good amount of dust and some brake noise but they have great bite. Hawk ceramics or ROTORA ceramics or STOPTECH Posi-Quiet pads would all be good optoins for pads.

In reference to the rotor question, if you can still see a slot then the rotor hasn't reached minimum thickness yet. The slot is actually an indication of when the rotor has reached the min thickness.

Thanks for the advice on Pads, I was leaning towards the Hawk pads but then was told about the Disc Italia ones, any impressions from the group on those? How do they compare with the Ultimates and Hawk pads in terms of performance and brake dust?

Thanks
