brake light rattle when playing music on the stock system
I have the stock bose system on a 03 Cl-S and when I have a song with decent bass, the brake light or glass around that area rattles. How can i get rid of that?

I'd like to remove mine since I got the spoiler.

3rd Brake Light Removal
1) Remove the bottom seat cushions. Pull on the very bottom straight up. They are held in by clips.
2) Remove the rear center console. It is held together by 4 bolts. I believe 10mm
3) Remove the seat back. It's held in by 2 bolts. One on each corner. Then lift straight up.
4) Remove the back side C Panels. (Where the seat belt retracts) To get these off, pry your fingers behind the piece closest to the rear window at the bottom, and pull as hard as you can. It's held on by 4 clips. It's a pain to get off.
5) Remove rear deck cover. It's held on by 2 clips. They are located at the top of the seat back panel.
6) Remove 3rd brake light. It's held together by 2 screws. Simply unscrew from the trunk, and it should pull right out.
I would recommend glueing some black cloth to the inside of the rear deck to fill the huge hole where the 3rd brake light used to be.
This is just a quick write up, so if I missed anything, someone let me know.

thanks! I think I'm gonna try to cut out the "lump" in the dash and flatten it somehow. but first I gotta find some similar carpet material to cover it after.
