Brake Dust on Wheels

Anyone know what kind of product I can buy to get this brake dust off my rims? They're all stuck there like super glue and I can't seem to wash it off

simple green work on my stock cl rims. the rims were gold from years of not cleaning them. but i soon fixed that. so get some simple green, let it soak in a for a min or two, then with a rig start scrubbing away. easier if the rim is off the car.

but depends on what kind of rim finish.

x2 on Simple Green.

I had my Civic parked under a tree for over a year, I used Simple Green dilluted in water and all the tree sap was gone. Im pretty sure it removed the wax though. But that didnt bother me.

yea, it's just kinda like patches of brake dust everywhere haha. More annoying and an eyesore than anything else I suppose. I'll try the simple green. And yea, the elbow grease wasn't working out for me. Just on the stockies

Afterwards, wax your wheels periodically. This will make it much easier to clean the dust off in the future.

i've used a clay bar on a 350z to get black enamel dotted paint off the car. with the tough scrubbing. lol.

but the paint was 3 months old.

so I am VERY impressed. it's the best 25$ i ever spent.

I got the mothers clay bar kit
