Bra for the CL

Has anyone purchased a bra (no jokes, kids) for their 2nd Gen CL?

I'm looking to make a cross country trip soon and I want to make sure I don't get more rock chips than I already have on my front bumper. I figured a bra would be the best way to protect it.

If you could provide information on where you bought it and a price, that would be great too.

thanks

Short term use I think the strap-on! bra is useful. Over time they do affect the paint from rubbing and dirt getting underneath.
I like the idea of the clear bra you can buy now, some don't like it and it costs 2-3X more. Basically it's a clear high gloss 3M film that is similar to window tint that is applied to the hood, bumpers, even headlights and mirror backs. It can be removed without damaging the paint, but like window tint it destroys the film if you remove it. good luck.

I have one. I only use it for road trips. In fact I just put it on this morning. I'm driving to NYC from FL today. Works great to keep rock chips & bug guts out of your paint.

If you practice good mantainence and don't leave the bra on while it's wet, and always clean both bra and car before putting it on, you won't scratch anything.

Leaving it on for years on end and yes, you're asking for trouble.

There's one for sale in the Black Market. I was thinking about buying it myself to use on long road trips. Buy it before I change my mind

I bought the Clear Bra for my bumper, headlight, front fenders, mirrors, and fogs and it's the best investment I've made on the car yet...

it actually HID the existing chips and gave the nose a MUCH nicer appearance... I highly recommend...
