Bought new CL-S this past Saturday

I just purchased a CL-S this past Saturday, and the dealer dudes down at Spitzer Acura (Monroeville, PA) were pretty sketchy...almost like they didn't want to sell the car to me.

Anyway, I was wondering what you guys got when you purchased your CL-S. Any cool toys, special floor mats, etc...shit... they didn't even give me a damn license plate frame.

I got a damn pen, a key chain, and that's about it I believe....oh and harassing phone calls asking me (in a very scripted voice) how I enjoy my Acura... "did you know what you get with our Total Luxury Care program..."

Because of where I live, I bought the all weather mats as I am sick of getting all the damp gunk on regular mats.

Also, I bought some leather cleaner/conditioner (Lexol) that some on the board here uses. I went to Napa and both bottles cost me like $14.00

Minor items, put in some rubber door trim and you would be amazed at how good it looks. If you look at the edge of the door, there actually is a transparent rubber protector that is rellay thin.

Am waiting to find a nice spoiler for the back other than OEM.

Congrats on your new car. I've had mine now for 9 days.

I was actually asking for things you guys got free from the dealer. My father had bought an MDX four months ago and the dealer salesmen were so curteous that they gave him a huge fruit basket. I'm not looking for fruit-baskets but what about Type-S floor mats or something?

Eggplan-EX - I grew up in Redmond WA, I completely agree with you about the mats. It does get pretty sloppy out there.

You should have been able to get wheel locks tossed in free, if nothing else. If they seem sketchy, find another dealer to service your car where you feel more comfortable.

The first dealer I went to (Acura West) was a bunch of bullshit and hot air, so I went to Rosenthall and my experience there was completely different. Very curteous, nice salespeople who actually wanted to sell you a car and give you a good price right off the bat. Tech shop seems fairly competant, and I would have no problem shopping there again.

Acura West can eat a bag of hell.

chikai = slow down???? that doesn't sound like me...haha...

In chinese it's..."check out my taillights"...

Haha...thanks for the welcoming...

by the way...the salesman says he charges everyone for wheel locks and mud flaps...no matter the car. Spitzer is no good.
