Whats up people...had a question I wanted you all to adress. I spoke with a friend of mine...he drives a CLK430. I asked him if it was a smart idea to change the stereo on the CL (because its bose) As an auto mechanic, and many years of stereo bulding, and competition wins, he told me that the bose stereos are engineered with the car, and acura has just enough air back behind the speaker to satisfy the BOSE speakers. I thought this was a bit wrong. He said you might put in better speakers, but because of the lack of air, they will sound like crap. Can anyone here tell me about this...i really want to put an MBQUART system in my car, but am now afraid to do it because of what he said. Also, if you had a system installed, tell me what brand, and if you are happy with it, along with some problems you encountered...like parts rattling. Thanks!

 

Also forgot to mention...what do you think are the best brands for speakers???
