through some tunnels:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jI9QybjvXfk

ill try to get some out of the car, but if i'm in park or neutral from outside its kind of buzzy when there is no load on it, but it sounds nuts while in motion

the high pitch is my brakes.

those are abit better, but still a little difficult to hear. Def sounds more business-like tho, that second clip in the first post sounds nice. I keep changing my mind about the exhaust, I liek what I had but I want to hear some in person to help make up my mind.

Oh sheeit, okay. I was thinking it was just some muffs. Wow, impressive! Oh that's right, plus you've got + 0.3 liters over us. Jealous.

probly more than 4 blocks but its not TOO bad in the cabin, more resonance than annoyance, i'm used to it and so is the g/f, but 2.25 would reduce sound levels dramatically.

Thats sounds nice. I need to fix my exhaust. It sounds raspy. How do you like the random tech catyltic converter, i had mine on for like 3 yrs its falling apart so i might go with a magnaflow cat..

Have you though about a cutout?

the random cat looks real nice, i believe they redesigned since yours since its 3 years old, quality looks on target

no real need for a cutout, i wouldnt gain much from it. but i do have some slight droning i'm trying to fix.

you have a link of the new style. I have a 6th gen coupe though. This summer i am going to redo my exhaust and might have to take it to the shop you did. The shops around here are terrible.

yea, thats why i drove all the way to NJ to get it done cause everything by us sucks, looks like you live around here. im not sure if random specifically mention their new design, i just know that they have redesigned the internals of the cats to last longer, so if yours is falling apart you should try to contact them for a discount on a new one.

i'm really impressed with their product, i just wish they offered a lineup of universal resonators, the selection is kind of tight, but if you are going custom, the quality is top notch.

meineke.. they use aluminum and crush bends, E-shift used stainless steel and mandrel bends

What mufflers did you use? I was looking on their website and I would assume you were probably using the boomer mufflers (they are made for sport compacts) and the inlets are 2 1/4". Can you post a pic?

is the Random cat CARB legal? and i'm not sure if i saw it for sale in the group buy forum. and do you think that there would be a big increase in noise due to the cat? for example if i added it to my current exhaust setup of CT headers and stock exhaust.

i'm not sure you can check their website or ask 'excelerate' he is vendor for them on the forums. i'm actually curious, i might install the stock cat to see if it makes a difference in sound.

i was just reading that this is supposedly just for the CL-P. that if you were to get this installed onto a CL-S with a stock exhaust, you would have to modify it. unless you have an aftermarket like yourself. i'm not sure what width of an exhaust we're about here. i'll have to ask Josh. oh, and that's shitty that CA is the only state not accepting the cat as CARB legal.

i was going to ask you. did you install only the cat or was it along with your Borlas? just trying to get a feel of what kind of gains are to be had.

i dont think you will have to modify much, i just had to drill out the holes on my comptech b-pipe flange to get the one side to fit nice, but the header side was fine. i did it all in my garage w/ hand tools, and a drill, and impact gun would get the job done in no time.

gains... hard to say, i already had a hi-flow cat in i switched w/ this one. but it felt overall stronger and smooth powerband, much like after the crank pulley install
