Boost gauge Installation
Boost gauge Installation
I got the mount in but it took more trimming than I cared for. I put it in anyway at least for the time being. Below are the pics:
I wanted something less obvious than an A-pillar mount plus my last four vehicles (excluding the '01 CL-S) had A-pillar mounts so I wanted something different. The location is great as it really doesn't obstruct much. I slight head tilt to either side shows me the OAT and OD. Beyond that I may need to lean a bit more.
But I am not sure if I will keep this as I think I'd prefer it completely clean.
The red LED to the bottom right of the gauge is my indicator light for the extra injector. When above 3.5 PSI boost and about 4800 revs it is on.

The view in the pictures is somewhat deceiving; the pics make it look like it obstructs more than it really does from a normal seating position.
There are digital boost gauges out there but more are in the 52mm format. But there are some which are rectangular and a little smaller.
