body kit question

is it more expensive to buy, install, and paint a body kit piece by piece (first front, than sides, then rear) rather than buying the whole the thing and getting it all installed at once? the reason i ask is because my mom gives me a really hard time when i spend large amounts of money on my car, even if it is my own hard earned cash (she thinks i should be saving for college or something...who needs college when you got a cl-s ) even convincing her to let me buy an intake was a task in itself
thanks

Body kits add nothing but scratches and hitting speed bumps... not good, it does not get go faster, or save you some gas... and most bodykits are F.ugly!

get it all at once... sometimes if you get them piece by piece they color of the paint will be off and won't match

ID, if you ever decided to get the kit, get them all at once so the paint can match like Chris said. The idea of getting them piece by piece is not very right cuz the picture of a CLS driven around with just the bumpers or side skirts is not really pretty.
Now the bodykit issue is taken care of. I just want to ask you regarding the quoted statement. Why would you say something like that? The CL-S may make you look good for a couple yrs or even 10 yrs. But education will make you better your entire life. So enjoy the CLS but dont forget school.

haha i was just kidding about the college thing. believe me...i know the value of education. i'm in a ton of honors/ap classes (more than i would like to be in my senior year), and i scored in the higher ranges of the act and SAT tests (not the best but i think i did pretty good). As for the next few months all i'm going to be pretty focused on sending out applications so i won't have much time for my car . on another note i can't wait for the sept. 8th meet in chicago first car meet i'll ever go to...should be cool
