Blown Strut?

I have been hearing a clunking sound from my front left wheel area lately. I thought it might be the spring so I jacked my car up to check it out. I noticed that the bottom of the spring/strut and part of the wheel well was covered in what looked like grease. Could this be that I have a blown strut. I have had eibachs on for about a year.

well jack up the car and remove the wheels. if there is any fulid eakage or signs of leakage like oil stains on the struts then u probably have a blown strut or shock.

go get some tokicos or if you have the dough go get some koni yellows. that should take care of it for a while

Some people do blow them when the put new springs on the car without getting new shocks.
