Blackfire Kicks Ass!!!

Well, I got my Blackfire yesterday and today was the perfect day to use it. It was overcast and kinda chilly, in the high 60s. I washed the car with Dawn to strip all the wax off and then I started with the Polish. I used a terry cloth/pad for application. The second I put it on the paint it started to haze. As soon as I was done wiping a body panel I could immediately buff off the haze. I did one coat of the Polish and then two coats of the All Finish Paint Protection. The application of the Paint Protection was exactly the same as the polish. Including washing and a total of three coats, this only took me 2 and a half hours

The shine looks as good or better than Zaino's...I've never seen a car with Klasse so I can't make a comparison. The paint is super smooth and not only does it shine it also has the 3D wet look that usually comes from caranbula waxes. Overall I'm very impressed with this stuff...only two steps and no wait time in between them. I highly recommend Blackfire

Dude, thats awesome. Just one question, you said paint protection. Is that protection against fading, staining, etc. ordoes it form like a layer that protects against chips?

The AFPP is basically the second step that intensifies the shine/gloss while protecting against UV/infared radiation.

To whoever wrote it yeah, I spelled carnbua wrong .

Before you start you should claybar your car. If not wash it with Dawn. Rule of thumb is one month after you wax your car only 50% of the original wax will be left.

Heres a TL-S guy who applied Blackfire directly over Zaino...he said the results were pretty good.

As for the kit, I got the New Car Kit for 50 bucks + 7 for shipping. It came with two applicators, a bottle of Wash/Shampoo, Polish and the All Finish Paint Protection (All bottles are 16oz). If you order before December 31st, Terry will throw in a bottle of Sonus Gel Wheel Cleanser for free too. IMO this is a good deal for all the stuff you get.

Goto www.properautocare.com and look under either New Products or Polish.

So, how's your blackfire holding up?

Is it getting any less shiny / harder to clean than it used to be?

I just washed it during the weekend. It's still shiny and was really easy to clean. Water still beads like when I first put it on. Then again California winters are pretty mild. I'll keep you guys informed...

I'll try my best tonight when my partner gets home. I have several pictures of the results. Yes, our winters are mild, so I'm kinda waiting for it to rain etc......so I can see how it holds out...

Yah, I'm gonna throw on another 3 layers this weekend, I hope.

But I'm not against using something that is cheaper if it can compare relatively well.

Hey Chod, if you ever use blackfire, you should put a comparison on your FAQ!
