blacked out or color matched headlights?

I have an "03 cl- type-s in San marino red and I was wandering what to do with the headlights. Red or black out all the gunmetal in the housing? lmk what ya think

I would go with the color keyed ones. Just dont forget to seal the headlights back good, or you will get moisture.

i say trade your 03s for cash + some stock 01s before you do your paint project. people pay good money for those beauties.

Or just check on ebay for some cheap 01's, and have at it! This way you have a back up pair, just incase you mess the 01's up!

x2 good advice, I'm picking up my '01's this weekend. Gonna color match middle chrome part leaving trim chrome, black projector shrouds.

color match never saw a red one done like that.

color matched huh? i thought maybe making the gunmetal black would be good with the black tint and all, but hell, san marino red lights here i come...lol

Consider this too, leave them as is, with a projector retro & color matched shrouds.

post some pics cuz i got a red CL to and i was thining abotu the red housing. i saw sundance gold CL with its housings painted to match..it looked ok, but i think the 03's look pretty clean with the black..i think im gunna do the 03's with sum L.E.D. additives maybe an angel eye, dunt wanna make them bimmer dude jelous though

p.s. tell you i saw an imola M3 on the road that had the yellow tint on the headlights that got me thinking...
