Best type of filter for cold air intake?

I noticed that the cone filter on my CAI has a small hole worn in it... about the diameter of a dime. I guess it was rubbing on the splash guard or something.

So, I'm looking to get a new one. Should I get another cone filter like the one I have or should I get one of these cones with a funnel ram end? Which is better?

this is what happens when you use AEM's CAI. its too friggen long and it gets a hole punctured by the bottom plastic clip.....

This is one of the main reasons why I went w/ the Injen.

I've personally seen 4 AEM CAI's w/ holes on the bottom part of the cai. If your going to use the AEMS take the plastic clip off or something

I like foam element filters. Comptech makes a cone for ice boxes. I don't know if it will fit the AEM.
