Best setting for VTECH?

What is the best setting for VTECH controller and setting of fuel.

Cold temps 45 degrees?

Warm temps 85 degrees?

I don't know but others on this forum feel that VTEC controllers for the CL-S are a waste of money. I think you can only gain 3hp max. I checked out the pics of your car. I kinda like that grill.

Its not a waste persay....you need to have some major mods before it will take a major effect is the thing. If you only have CAI and maybe headers...I think that is when you will get about 3-5hp gains...but if you have more then you will notice more. Such as, when the supercharger comes out...I bet that would do some major effects.

V-AFC's ususally give only 3~5 hp but they give it through out the power band, not just at high rpm. It also helps raise torque in the begining, (what you feel when u floor yo car) I've rode, and seen a TL and Type S w/ V-afc and I think they both benifited from it. Best of all looks really good when mounted in the sunglass holder.
