Best Looking Coupe under 25k
I have been obsessed with looking at Coupes since I got my CL-S---
There are a couple of coupes which are head turners for me
The Chrysler Sebring Coupe
The 2 door accord in black
I know our car smokes both of these cars in performance nad interior...but I wish our car was just a little sexier on the outside...just my 2 cents

Sorry to totally throw your topic off-topic, but for that price I'd go WRX. Yes it's a sedan and it's not that hot stock.... but for $23k or so you can't beat that package performance wise......

I may be in the minority here, but I think the new Hyundai Tiburon is in the running for the the "best looking" coupe. Although I don't know how it would hold up in the long run mechanically. . .

It looked like a really well put together car. Very nice looking, the interior was better than I could imagine for around $20k and a six-speed tranny too. Just wish it had closer to 200hp than 175hp.
If I was searching for my first new car, that would be high on the list.

I'm still a fan of the Accord coupe....in black of course. IMHO, the 2002 Mercedes C-Class coupe IN BLACK only is pretty sexy. ($24,950 BONE STOCK) I'd ONLY get that car in black though due to the henious black plastic they've got on the rear. Like the CL's rear vier mirrors ('01 models) the black hides the plastic well.
Just can't bring myself to digg on Hyundai.

In terms of looks and what I would buy for that price, those would be my top 2 as well. You can also get a loaded Stratus R/T for the price of the Sebring - both around $24,500. The 4 cylinder Accord EX with leather and auto is $24,000 (my choice for < $25K). The Accord with everything can get up to nearly $28,000 - you might as well buy a Pontiac GTP for that price (hahhaahahaha).

No, I suppose it shouldn't, but that's what these guys are listing it as. Maybe my Internet is broken. Can I borrow yours? =)

Of course I gotta say the Legend, NSX, BMW 850, Prelude.
Kind of scary some of the choices I saw here. I see NO US made 2 door that isn't tacky disgusting. Even the Civic looks better to me than the CL. I just don't like it, Praying for some major tweaking on the O3 CL! Always loved the Lex coupes and the new SC430 is ugly and hot both!

Speaking of the next gen Accord:
"Honda's concept is for the Accord to be the "sedan version of S2000", even though it is still an FF design (Front-wheel drive, Front-mounted engine). Despite the FF layout, it's said to be competitive with the Altezza (FR, aka Lexus IS300) and Subaru Legacy B4 (AWD) sedans.
The new Accord will use newly developed platform. Comfort conscious flat platform concept, which was adopted in new Civic, will not be used for the Accord. This is because the Honda engineers wanted to give more freedom to the design of rear suspension."
Looks kinda Altima-ey to me.

Mustang.
And as for that supposed C Class MB for $24,900, that's a joke. Before I bought my CL-S I looked at the C Class. When you are bored, go online and configure a C Coupe to have all the options as the CL. You'll get to $35,000 before you realize that you can't even get everything the CL offers. And then you figure in MB's financing....That's an even bigger joke!

I agree with you on the c class coupe. It reminds me of when BMW made the 318ti. IMO a "luxury" car with a prestigious name like Mercedes should not have a 4 cylinder. The car looks ok from the front, but looks kind of incomplete from the side.
