I,ve looked at a couple of cold air intakes out there for my 01 CL-S. Its between Aem V2, Injen, Comptech Ice box, maybe more. Which ones the best for my car over all?

There is no V2 for the CL-S, only the CL-pee. The AEM and Injen are comparable in performance and they will both give you a mean growl at Vtec. I have read that the Injen is supposed to be of slightly better quality over the AEM.

The Icebox is quiet but gives you the most hp (but only by a couple).

The "best" intake really is a subjective topic. You may be looking for sound, finish, power, certain colors, or certain designs. The AEM and Injen intakes are tubular and have a mean growl when VTEC engages. The AEM comes in blue, red, silver, or polished. The Injen comes in black or polished. The Comptech Icebox resembles the stock intake and is very clean and also gives the most power.

I'd go with CT if money wasn't a concern.

 

Hydrolock isn't a major concern either with the Icebox. And cleaning the filter is right there.

 

CT Icebox has the most gains.
