here's the deal I am trading in my 02' black Cl-S for an 03' cl-s 6 speed USED in silver. Only problem is the more I look at the silver the more I am just not feeling it. I think its a nice color but just not me.

I just met up with Jrod178 cause I bought some audio equipment and we were discussing the same topic about the color he agrees that black is the best color....only one problem I already had black and I refuse to do the same color bad enough Im doing the same car.

anyways guys post a pic of the hottest car and color that you would trade in your car for if you were in my shoes.

by the way I have no problem getting a new cl-s 6 as long as its the color that I really FEEL so far its the anthracite and the aegan blue. Do any of you guys really like the Silver.

Well it is true that once you go black you never go back, however if you really don't want to get black again but you really like that dark color then i'd say Anthracite all the way. It really does look hot.

yep and you should of seen the girl that was driving her and her girlfriend where simply I was in total love but they were kinda snobish so I really didn't pay attention to them. I snook in a pic of the car cause i loved the color its a totally different silver.

 

My choices would be: Black, White, Anthracite, Aegean Blue, Silver, Red

Anthracite is a great color, but for some reason the CL looks great in White (probably rare though)

I like Silver, but the CL just doesn't look as good in that color IMO as other Silver cars (my Z is Silver though)

Aegean Blue is a nice color too, but on the CL doesn't look as good as a TLS in that color IMO.

 

dude we have similar taste and opinions but I don't know about white....come to think of it I don't know of anybody with a HOT white cL-S :thinking:

 

In my opinion this particular car looks better in the darker colors. Red, Blue, Anthrocite and Black

 

I usually don't like White cars, but for some reason I saw a nice one hooked up recently and for some reason I think that the CL just looks nice in that color.

I think Nicky Pass has a really nice looking white CL

Lou, don't get Anthracite. There are already 3 I know of around us. Me, Rob, and this other guy in queens. I would get the blue, no one else has it around us.

 

yea but Im already thinking ahead because if I get the Anthracite you can sell me your spoiler your taking off so Ill be saving a couple of pennies. not to mention its probably the only unique color for 03' 6 speed only get it....any of the other colors could of been had for 01' and 02' but not the Anthracite making it more rare dude Im looking ahead and its the best color....but the blue can be nice...

out of the 2700 CL-S 6 speed how many are Anthracite and thats how many there will ever be>

Not entirely accurate... Yes, it's unique to the 2003 model years, but no, it's no unique to 6-speeds. The 03 Auto also comes in Anthracite. I know, I've got one :P

 

Yea thats not what I was trying to say it just means it narrrows it down to an 03' meaning a possible 6 speeder. I know it comes an auto cause i think Chaptorial has an auto Anthracite.

I like red, but blue and black look good on the CLS to me. Heck, they all look good

 

Darker colors > *. I love my black CL-S, the only downside is that it's freakin IMPOSSIBLE to keep scratch and swirl-free. And it's a damn oven when it gets sunny out.

If not black, i'd also take one in blue. I'm not a fan of the silver. Athrecite and Gold do have a certain "wtf?! i've never seen that color before!" charm to them, though.

 

I was very conflicted on what color to get. For me the interior color choice also effected what color. Here in TX black is hot and a lot more care. The black interior looks great but didn't want black for the same reasons.
So...I ended up with the white/tan used CLS. I didn't like the white much but it has grown on me. You don't see many whites either. I tinted the windows, added the roadlamps and plan to keep on tweaking it up.

Honda always offers very limited color choices. The BMW offers all kinds of metallic colors and gray interiors, what I really wanted.

I love my Silver. Way easier to keep clean. While it may not look as nice as Black or ABP when Zd, it still looks damn good IMO!!

you ssr comps in their silver alloy finish would look sweet as fuck on a silver cl-s, if u get blue or black u need cromies. so i'd say stay w/ the silver cl-s to match ur current rims. i think silver looks sweet w/ the 03 headlights.

I say go with white or silver. I traded my 01 CL-s white for an 03 6spd white. Same color for the interior. I guarranty U that my white car is hot and may look better than most other colors and not to many floating around. U would be in ah how my paint is so glossy/shiny.

 

yea but you know how black with the chrome trim just makes the car look special look at the silver its missing something

silver dont look to nice in those pics cause its 4x4, but when ever i see mantis' ride it makes we want silver. white looks sweet too lou.

 

First choice for me is black....wish I got one (black on black)

But I ended up buying my 2nd choice...anthracite. Nice when it's all cleaned up. I've got some cool pics that I'm trying to upload when I was in the mountains (Big Basin in California)...looks pretty sweet.

Blue is my 3rd choice.

Generally the European car makers offer much better color choices. The Japanese dont seem to have a clue about these things. It may be just a cost saving thing.
