hi im new here.. well just got my cls ..um.. what cold air intake should i get? i was thinkink about the icebox. Does the icebox have a good sound to it? im looking for good sound too. thanks -- jason

most ppl get aem or injen for the sound, CT icecbox is quiet like the stock intake

Go with the CT Icebox. I have the AEM, but I would rather have the Icebox if I did it over again.

 

does the icebox add any good noise? the thing i dont like about aem and injen is im afraid of sucking up water. but the sound is good.

 

The icebox doesn't add "good" noise due to it's design. Rain splashes and small puddles generally do not cause hydrolock. The CAI would have to be submerged in water to take in a substantial amount of water to cause any damage to your engine.

 

for a tad more hp the icebox is the winner.. If you are into the sound AEM all the way

thanks guys.. i decided to go with an injen intake. i went to a performance shop in chicago and they had it in stock for 239
