So Jim, do I get to put my logo on the finished car because I Photochopped the Pro Street CL concept that inspired this project??? LOL!
Are you still thinking of going with the satin black paint? I can't wait to see the finished product. Seriously is going to be (already is) amazing!

This is so nuts! Definitely going to take the cake as fastest CL ever lol. ThinJim this has to be one of the quickest ground up buildups i've ever seen. Have you run into any serious problems on the way thus far?
Love the wheels by the way - a little bit of style on the racing rims is tight. and check out that LIP!

supertrooper, that's really good work, wish I had your skills on photochop. You even put the trakstar wheels on it and flared the rear quarters (looks like it anyways),,,, cool. The color looks good but going to give it time to grow on me.
Can I nit pick a little with some requests? Can you put the spoiler on, remove the chrome trim around the window, remove the side mirror, fill in the gas tank lid, add some bright red and yellow graphics, or flames, put 01 tail lights and smooth over the area around the license plate, and get rid of the muffler tips? OK... get crackin. and yeah, I'll find a place for your logo, seriously.

ThinJim...first of all...you're the coolest mutherfukker on this board. I'm like a little school girl waiting in line for Hannah Montanna tickets following the progress of this project.
Now with the gayety aside, have you considered flat black? I think that would look mean as hell. Also, do you (or are you planning on having) any type of sponsorship?
edit: Oh yeah, and you never answered my question about trunk space.

Are you guys busting my balls? The answer is out there in post # 40. Black has been the reason for supertroopers photochop, I requested that color specifically. Black, that's the plan, refer back to post #40. I'm just looking at other color options as I may change my mind, that photochop is a great tool to get ideas, but black has been on the front burner since like forever.. OK?

Thats a cool idea making it RWD. It would have been cool to see a streetable conversion, but if your gonna go all out to make it RWD then I guess you gotta go all out on the conversion. Good luck with it man, I'll definately will be suscibing.

it's ok thinjim, we both have lost it! as soon as i find my 2 car garage, i begin the hunt for a totalled 04+ RL so i can do an AWD conversion to the CL. yup, i'm serious. i can't wait to see what your car does on a track. we should start a pool as to what it will run.

When do you think you'll have this beast running?
I do like the blue, looks real nice all polished up like it would be on race day...plus it's another tie to us stock CLs!
If I had a boatload of cash lying around I'd attempt an turbocharged NSX motor swap/RWD conversion for the street, sleeper style with pure blood.
