Battery or charging question, really need help
So my car was completely dead this morning, not even a click for the starter. The battery was completely gone. Nothing in the car was left on? The road side assistance was here within an hour. I thought I would have to wait much longer! Anyway, the car starts right up and I was told to drive around and the battery indicator should turn green. Never happened. Is my battery fried and worse what could have caused it in the first place? A possible short? I am just hoping it starts in the morning. My poor CL just hit 1300 miles today. Does this soulnd familiar to anyone? Thanks.

then yes (although someone will prove me wrong) you probably have a short that just sucks the power straight out of the battery, or some bad connections...go to the dealer, they do anything for a car that new

sounds like a defective battery, if one of the cells go bad it will discharge. Do a Hydrometer test between each cell,,,,, better yet your still under warranty, take it back to the dealer and they have a meter that test the battery and shows any current draws from the car... good luck
