OK - this is going to sound really stupid. I have a battery 700 cranking amps that is 6 months old and dead as a door nail. How long should it take to fully charge at 10amps?

Using a manual charger without much of a charge guage on it.

Its not in my CLS...

1st off, it is dead within 6 months of useage you should take it back, they pro-rate batteries.

2nd what type of charger are you using?.. a trickle cell charger?

if you are using a slow charge (which you should).. 8 hours or overnight should be fine.
