Baked on tree sap removal ...How do you....

remove this nasty stuff. I am detailing a coworkers car with this stuff baked on and into the paint. What is the best way to fix this mess.......

Try bug and tar remover. or try mineral spirits, its the same thing.
it wont harm your paint, just make sure to wax after!

Try a clay bar........or saturate a rag in bug and tar romover and let it sit for ten min. then lightly scrub.

claybar....it will go slow so you'll have to do it over a few weeks time. My mom has some baked on her car. What you'll want to do is leave it in the sun and then wash it and scrub vigorously on the edges to remove it and then hit with the claybar.

If it's IN the paint now, chances are it will never come out. I had bird crap on my black truck. Didn't notice it till after it was in the sun a few hours at 90+ degrees. I tried claybar, tar remover, WD-40, Z5, Z2, Z6, dawn, & still the paint is stained. It's only noticable now at close inspection though.
